UAV IMSI Catcher

The UAV IMSI Catcher can detect, capture, and track mobile identities from a drone.

UAV IMSI Catcher:

The core of the UAV IMSI Catcher is configured as a payload for drones. Factors for each configuration will depend upon longevity (operating time) and weight of the drone.

Applications involve performing airborne mobile identity discovery, collection, analysis, and management. The onboard IMSI Catcher can be used with the included drone, or it can be customized for airborne mobile identity grabbing on the user’s existing surveillance drone.

The UAV IMSI Catcher is designed to track mobile phones in range, where a quick attachment then detachment to a private network operation takes place. When that happens, it can discover IMSI and IMEI numbers. Law Enforcement uses these identifiers to track both known and unknown suspects during investigations.

Secondary uses involve supporting Search and Rescue teams to locate people with mobile phones during building collapse events, kidnap recovery, as well as situational awareness of lost people in areas within range.

Our solution is able to capture many phones quickly and save their identities into a database that can be mined for deep levels of intelligence based on locations, times of capture, and other variables used during COMINT missions.
The system captures information in real-time. The ingestion rates of random and targeted devices is fast, efficient, and makes the solution effective for tactical investigations.

In addition to working in real-time above moving targets, the system can also land, either on rooftops, or near a target, and collect information over time.

This type of communications intelligence provides a rich collection of data that Law Enforcement can use to detect, identify, and track targets, as well as determine possible accomplices.
