The Network Survey Collector is a handheld micro Signal Catcher.
The Network Survey Collector is used to observe and record wireless network environments where drive-by collection is not possible. Placed in a pocket or hand-carried, this SIGINT tool is a true on-the-ground network mapping solution.
The solution was designed to provide true on the ground SIGINT acquisition without local network provider support. The system is covert for non-drive by collection (inside buildings, bad neighborhoods, outdoor areas where vehicles [or backpacks] cannot enter).
Discreet Collection:
The Network Survey Collector permits the user to interact with networks in a controlled manner, identify useful non-broadcast network features including identity changing and authentication frequency, typical call setup, data setup, and SMS sequence + timing.
Signal Mapping:
The system can go in and up a building to collect network data as well as perform geo-tagging for post-collection visualization and mapping.
