Portable Jammer
The Portable Jammer is used on-site to block radio detonators of IEDs ; either on wheels or in a Backpack configuration.
The Portable Jammer is used by EOD experts, emergency responders, SWAT, Bomb Disposal, and security groups for counter IED operations. Specifically, a Portable Jammer is what they bring on site to block a radio detonator of an IED using a remote signal to trigger a bomb.
The Portable Jammer series come as a:
- Backpack Jammer
- Cart Jammer (on wheels)
- Briefcase Jammer
All of these jammers are portable, and set up quickly to radiate radio interference in order to fight the threat of remote detonation of a bomb.
These jammers can be either carried or wheeled to the location of the bomb and operate both stationary or while moving.
In the event a vehicle jammer cannot access the area of the threat, such as:
- inside a building
- down a corridor
- sidewalk
- indoor or outdoor area
the Portable Jammer is the ideal choice to bring on location.
Some Portable Jammers provide user selectable bands to permit communication windows, others used by EOD teams and bomb squad technicians prefer standard IED jammer and RF jammer configurations for blocking all signals without gaps.
